Susan notes: Maxine, the star of Hallmark's Crabby Road series of cards and products, is the invention of Hallmark artist John Wagner, who 
says she was inspired by his mother,
 his maiden aunts and his grandmother. I think there may be a little bit of the outspoken, acerbic Maxine in all of us... ;)
