Rythmic gymnastics is a compositional and a highly technical sport which combines rhythmic movements with small apparatus (e.g. balls, hoops, clubs, ribbons). The gymnastic movements, of different technical difficulty, are connected in continuous sequences to form a logical whole, perfectly coherent with the music that accompanies it.

This is the silver medal performance of 14-year-old junior Bulgarian gymnast Boyanka Angelova at the 2008 European Championships held in Torino, Italy in June.
