Elena Souliotis (May 28, 1943 - 2004) was born in Athens, Greece of Greek and Russian parents but moved with her family to Argentina at an early age.

She studied with Mercedes Llopart, who also taught Renata Scotto, Anna Moffo, Fiorenza Cossotto, Ivo Vinco, Alfredo Kraus, and Francisco Kraus.

Julia Ward Howe was born May 27, 1819, the fourth child of banker Samuel Ward and occasional poet Julia Rush Cutler. Among her siblings was Samuel Cutler Ward. Her father was a well-to-do banker.

Her mother, granddaughter of William Greene, Governor of Rhode Island and his wife Catharine Ray, died when Julia was five after having borne seven children by the age of 27.

Beverly Sills (May 25, 1929 – July 2, 2007) was an American operatic soprano between the 1950s and 1970s.

Although she sang a repertoire from Handel and Mozart to Puccini, Massenet, Wagner, and Verdi, she was known for her performances in coloratura soprano roles in live opera and recordings. 

Rosanne Cash (born May 24, 1955) is an American singer-songwriter and author.

She is the eldest daughter of country music icon Johnny Cash and his first wife, Vivian Liberto Cash Distin.

Although Cash is often classified as a country artist, her music draws on many genres, including folk, pop, rock and blues.
