Scare The Devil Every Day
that when your feet
hit the floor each
morning the devil says
"Oh no, She's up!"

Susan notes: I love the creative forces within me and around me. But sometimes I find it hard to access those forces or use them to their full potential. These few paragraphs from The Daily Om (Subscribe to The Daily Om here) gave me another way to help get my creative juices flowing.
Sometimes fear blocks creativity. To understand how, take a moment to imagine yourself telling a story. First, imagine telling the story to someone you love and who loves you.
Susan notes: The late Audrey Hepburn, one of the most beautiful women ever (inside AND out), is said to have offered this timeless advice below.
However, like many things circulated by email and/or found on the Internet, it would appear that the words have been falsely attributed to the simply gorgeous Hepburn.
Susan notes: This is a tune by Harry Chapin, a great singer/songwriter/balladeer, who also sang the late 70s hit The Cat's in the Cradle. Chapin died in a car accident in 1981. I've always found this song inspirational and uplifting, I hope you do too :)
Here are the lyrics
By Diana Loomis
Author, coach, speaker
If I had my child to raise over again,
I'd finger paint more, and point the finger less.
I'd do less correcting, and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I would care to know less, and know to care more.
