1) I would never trade my amazing friends, my wonderful life, or my loving family for less grey hair or a flatter belly.
2) As I've aged, I've become kinder to myself, and less critical of myself. I've become my own best friend.

1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay them.
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.'

Alberta Hunter (April 1, 1895 – October 17, 1984) was an American blues singer, songwriter, and nurse.
Her career started back in the early 1920s; she became a successful jazz and blues recording artist, being critically acclaimed to the ranks of Ethel Waters and Bessie Smith.
In the 1950s, she retired from performing and entered the medical field, only to successfully resume her singing career in her eighties.
