Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis (July 28, 1929 – May 19, 1994) was the wife of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, and served as First Lady during his presidency from 1961 until his assassination in 1963.

She was later married to Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis  from 1968 until his death in 1975.

Aung San Suu Kyi (born 19 June 1945) is a Burmese opposition politician and General Secretary of the National League for Democracy (NLD) in Burma.

In the 1990 general election, the NLD won 59% of the national votes and 81% (392 of 485) of the seats in Parliament.

She had already been detained under house arrest before the elections.

Benazir Bhutto (Sindhi: بينظير ڀٽو; Urdu: بینظیر بھٹو,  June 21 1953 – 27 December 2007) was a Pakistani politician who chaired the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), a centre-left political party in Pakistan.

Bhutto was the first woman elected to lead a Muslim state, having twice been Prime Minister of Pakistan (1988–1990; 1993–1996).

She was Pakistan's first and to date only female prime minister.
