Johanna Quaas, born November 20, 1925, started gymnastics at an early age and appeared in her first competition in 1934.
She gained international fame in 2012 when some of her videoed routines went viral and she won a place in the Guiness Book of Records as the oldest (at the age of 86) gymnast in the world.

Two women, both seriously ill with low chances of survival, occupied the same hospital room.
One woman was allowed to sit up in her bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from her lungs. Her bed was next to the room's only window. The other woman had to spend all her time flat on her back.

Dr. Antonia Coello Novello, M.D., (born August 23, 1944) is a Puerto Rican physician and public health administrator.
She was a vice admiral in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and served as fourteenth Surgeon General of the United States from 1990 to 1993.
