Girls’ Respect Groups is a unique after-school program for pre-teen girls, led by specially trained high school girls.
It’s a community of Girls Helping Girls, a place where teenage girls can share their life experiences and lend a helping hand to younger girls during the difficult middle school years.

The Women’s Intersport Network for Kansas City (WIN for KC), was established in 1994 with the mission to empower girls and women through advocating and promoting the lifetime value of sports and fitness, while providing opportunities for leadership development.
WIN is a volunteer, membership-driven organization that operates as a program under the umbrella of the Kansas City Sports Commission and Foundation.

Hope for Hearts invests in a life of girls. The organization is dedicated to funding St. Elizabeth Girl’s Academy (SEGA) in Uganda, East Africa.
The academy is an orphanage and school that rescues street children from birth to 21 years. On average, 200 girls a year receive a hand-up, not a handout.

February 4, 2011: The universe speaks to me constantly.
If I don’t pay attention, or listen well enough, it tends to shout. Deafeningly. Just lke I felt my Mom (pictured at left in 2009), sometimes did when I was a kid.
Still, I often don’t hear. Just like I didn't as a chlld.
