There once was a woman who woke up, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.
'Well,' she said, 'I think I'll braid my hair today.'
So she did and she had a wonderful day.

Grandmother sat outside, as she was wont to do every day.
She saw her granddaughter walking toward her, and she noticed the young girl seemed angry.
She was kicking the dirt, and Grandmother could see there were streaks of tears running down her face.

By the time the Lord made woman, he was into his sixth day of working overtime.
An angel appeared and said, "Why are you spending so much time on this one?"
The Lord answered: "Have you seen my spec sheet on her....? She has to be completely washable, but not plastic, have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable and able to run on diet coke and leftovers, have a lap that can hold four children at one time, have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart - and she will do everything with only two hands."

One day, as a young woman sat in her garden, she noticed a cocoon hanging from a nearby branch.
Before long, a small opening appeared in the cocoon. The woman watched for several hours as the butterfly within struggled to free itself from the envelope in which it had recently been transformed.
Then, it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could not go any further.

A young newlywed couple moved into their first house in a new neighbourhood.
The next morning, while they were eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbour hang the wash out to dry.
"That laundry is not very clean," said the young woman to her husband, "she doesn't know how to wash correctly."
Her husband looked and listened, but remained silent.
